ARTIST / TITLE FMT LABEL PRICE
4 TEEN KILLERS "Kill Your TV!!!" CD H-Records $12
Second album by the Teen Killers (4 of them!) produced by Mikel Biffs (Safety Pins). The added attraction on this one is their female singer doing songs in English, Spanish and French (!). This band is in hiiiiiigh demand in the Iberic rock club circuit. 12 original tracks plus an excellent version of "Holy War" of Lords of the New Church.

ALMENDRA "Almendra" CD BMG $15
Debut album by arguably thee most important Psych group from Argentina, which later gave birth to other famous bands such as Pescado Rabioso and Invisible. This is a great chance to enjoy their work with the best sound quality and at a very low price. This edition includes all their first singles and 5 inedit tracks as juicy bonus tracks. 20 tracks total. Not to be missed!

ALTER EGOS, THE "Egomania" CD 1+2 $12
Only release by this Power-Pop outfit from California that brought together Rich Coffee and Melanie Coffee (currently of The Excessories) and "Mad" Mike Czekaj (ex Fuzztones) to pay their respects to Bubblegum and Power-Pop culture. During the last two decades Rich Coffee played in The Egomaniacs, The Gizmos, The Fourgiven and others, making him a living legend. Japanese edition. Recommended!

ARONDIES, THE "Introducing" CD Get Hip $12
Here it is! Finally, the long-awaited complete, retrospective album by one of the best 60's teen bands to come out of the Pittsburgh area.

ASTRONAUTS, THE "You Are All Weird" CD Irregular $12
Needs no introduction. One of the best 80's New Wave-Punk-Folk bands, influential and loved as a cult prototype in many countries. This is their latest, most brilliant, release including three bonus tracks + a hidden one.

AQUELARRE "Brumas" CD Sony $15
One of the indisputable masterpieces of Argentine Psych. This incredibly rare gem became impossible to find for decades --especially at any reasonable price-- and has now resurfaced on CD! Originally released in 1974, this Aquelarre album, the 3rd one in their career, catches the band at its peak in terms of artistic quality and content.

AUTORAMAS "Nada Pode Parar Autoramas" CD Monstro $12
Here you have Brazil's #1 Power-Pop band. Immediately after coming back from an extensive Japanese tour with Guitar Wolf, Autoramas went right into the studio to record this album to be used as their weapon for world domination. Their previous work got them reviews just as impresive in Brazil and abroad.

BAMBOO KIDS, THE "The Bamboo Kids" CD Get Hip $12
In the Summer of 2001, The newly formed Bamboo Kids headed into New York City's aptly named Junkroom Studios to record what was to become their debut release. It may sound clich, but The Bamboo Kids wanted to make an album about living in the greatest city in the world ” about having no money, about fucking in bathrooms, drugs, booze, all the things happening around them. They wanted to find the perfect mix of art and delinquency.

BAMBOO KIDS, THE "Feel Like Hell" CD Empty $12
Pounding out rock and roll devoid of irony or trends, New York City's Bamboo Kids seem to be one of only a few bands that have no wall dividing their hearts from their music. No wall dividing gutter fun from social conscience. The Bamboo Kids have taken the celebrated garage rawness of their self-titled first album and injected it into a much fuller and more powerful sound. There is no filler on this album, only rock and roll at its finest.

BARRACUDAS "Through the Mysts of Time" CD Voxx $12
Compilation of demos and rarities from 1978-81 including earlier, rawer versions of many Barracudas hit songs, plus much more. Includes any unpublished photos and new liner notes by Robin Wills explaining the history behind each track.

BLACK JETTS, THE "Bleed Me" CD Dead Beat $12
Situated deep below the glitz and glamour of the Las Vegas strip, lie the 4 mopped haired rockers known as the The Black Jetts. 11 killer tracks in this debut album for fans of Locomotions, Dirtbombs, Detroit Cobras, D4, Danko Jones, Dragons, Preachers Kids, etc.

BLACK JETTS, THE "Right on Sound" CD Dead Beat $12
Second album by this great R’n’R combo, based in Las Vegas but bearing a Detroit soul. If you are a fan of bands like the Paybacks, Detroit Cobras, Dirtbombs, and you also like Stones and Faces, you are going to dig this CD.

B-MOVIE RATS , THE "Killer Woman" CD Dead Beat $12
Debut album documenting the B-Movie Rats at their most raw, fierce stripped down stage. Lo fi, ragged recording perfectly exemplifies the Rats at the beginning of their career. Many hail this as their best. MRR gave it 7 top 10's. Definitely groundbreaking when it came out, and absolutely still kills today.

BOBBYTEENS "Young and Dumb" CD Just Add Water $14
New album by San Francisco’s queens of trash. 15 garage-pop tracks by these rock’n’roll veterans. Featuring ex-members of Trashwomen, The Mummies and The Phantom Surfers.

BOMBER "Booze, Dope & Fever" CD Bad Attitude $14
Side project of FLAMING SIDEBURNS & MUTANTS members. Some of you will recognize the guys in the band for sure: Mr Ski Williamson and Mr Jeffrey Lee Burns were already at that time ready to testify and save rock’n’roll with The F. S., whereas Don Hesus and El Toro are known as the masters of voodoo blues with instro Afro-garage-mambo group The Mutants. Freaking' unbelievable piece of work!

BONNEY & BUZZ "Rock-Ola" CD Double Crown $12
Two UK guitar legends from the 60's are together for the first time on this fabulous new CD. Rock-Ola features Bill Bonney of The Fentone and Pete "Buzz" Miller. Buzz was also half of the Shig & Buzz project that released the CD Double Diamonds on Shag's Mai Tai Records label in the mid-90's. Rock-Ola contains twelve more "diamonds", with a smooth, deep Euro-instro sound not too removed from The Shadows, but dense with mystery and intrigue.

BONZOS "Spit or Swallow" CD H-Records $12
Bonzos is back, after 5 long years out of the spotlight!!! This fomer-Atom Rhumba / former-Painkillers combo is back full force to delight us all with their best version of Punk-Pop Rock'n'Roll. Hit after hit, this album is even better than their last one enlisting production work by Andy Shernoff.

BUTCHERS' ORCHESTRA, THEE "B-Side Serie" CD Short $12
Great CD by this truly outstanding band based in Sao Paulo, Brazil carrying the flag of the dirtiest, Gories-influenced, Blues-Punk. Nineteen tracks combining previously unreleased songs, outtakes, alternative versions of their own songs and a few covers (Stooges, Monomen, Rolling Stones, Minutemen, and even Minor Threat!!!). Another masterpiece by these innovative No Fun recording artists on a non-No Fun release.

BUTCHERS' ORCHESTRA, THEE "What About" CD Rastrillo $12
Genius studio abum recorded right after what should have been the band's 1st US tour during 2003 that never materialized. That material is seeing the light of day just now reminding us again that this band continues on the road the Gories and Oblivians paved for us so nicely, to which TBO added not-so-subtle hints of Soul and primitive Blues. Enjoy this excellent appetizer while you wait for the Butchers' upcoming album produced by Tim Kerr.

CHAINS, THE "On Top of Things" CD Get Hip $12
Fantastic debut album by Montreal's newest hitmakers. Superb songwriting from this stylish big beat quintet. Clap your hands and shout to the music of The Chains. A band to keep an eye and lend an ear for!

CHERRY BOMB, THE "Disconnected Satellites" CD Cherry Bomb $12
Power-Pop at its very best! Stiv Bator, Barracudas or Flaming Groovies style! This powerful 3-piece brings their fine quality work to the world from Londrina (Brazil) and they've been playing since 1996, where they were joined, in 2001, by Pete Shelley of Buzzcocks fame while he spent time living in Brazil with a Brazilian flame. 14 catchy tracks accompanied by outstanding graphic ar work. Recommended!

COFRADIA DE LA FLOR SOLAR, LA "Idem" CD Sony $15
One of the most sophisticated, respected and well produced albums in the history of Argentine and world Psych. This band was formed by a diverse group of musicians and artists who lived, worked, and travelled together as form of community. They were based in the City of La Plata, Buenos Aires, towards the late 60s and early 70s and they left us this invaluable recordings just before they started being harrassed and chased by the military dictatorship that had taken over Argentina at the time.

COKES, THE "First Album" CD Wizzard in Vinyl $12
Straight out of Japan, this energetic Punk-Power-Pop band explores the 1977-1979 era as set up by the Undertones, Vibrators, Ramones, etc, while also adding that fresh and aggressive sound characteristic of Japanese bands (read Teengenerate). A great piece.

CORONAS, LOS "Surfin' Tenochtitlan" CD Isotonic $15
Mexican edition of the new album by Los Coronas, who have been playing instrumental surf music since the late 80s and the indisputable kings of surf music in Spain. Amazing artwork by Dr. Alderete. This is all about reverb, Fender guitars and Fender amps. Catch their wave!

CREATURES OF THE GOLDEN DAWN, THE CD Get Hip $12
"An Incident At Owl Creek Bridge". This band have spent the last dozen or so years digesting such mid-'60s garage-rock gems as the Seeds, the Elevators, the Watchband and plenty of more obscure garagedom. This fantastic new album marks their return, more energetic and rocking than ever. This album features a mix of covers and originals that'll put a smile on your face! A must for fans of Cynics, Lyres and energetic garage rock.

CRUSADERS, THE "Wave to the Grave" CD Rastrillo $12
Great CD by this seminal garage-punk-surf combo that came out of Sydney, Australia, during the late 80s. This enhanced CD compiles tracks from their different albums and singles (some of them on CD for the very first time), plus a previously unreleased instrumental track. Bizarre only-Argentine release. Outstanding artwork by Darren Merinuk.

CULPABLES "En Los Nervios" CD Rastrillo $10
Here comes the debut long play from Motosierra's little brothers (actually both bands have a split CD that was released a few months before this album). All the way from Montevideo, Uruguay, these guys deliver killer rock'n'roll ala Turbonegro/Nashville Pussy with a hint of hardcore-punk as well. 13 tracks in less than 20 minutes. Death-punk doesn't get any better than this.

CYNICS, THE "Blue Train Station" CD Get Hip $12
This reissue of the Cynics' debut album contains the entire "Blue Train Station" LP along with other material recorded at the same time. Some of the non-LP tracks appeared on various 45s which are now long out-of-print, and there is one previously unreleased cut. Remixed and remastered for your listening pleasure.

CYNICS, THE "Sixteen Flights Up" CD Get Hip $12
We are pleased to present the reissue of the Cynics second album! Blending the hard-hitting garage of their debut Blue Train Station with Byrds/Nightcrawlers infected folk-rock, the Cynics score big on this followup. In retrospect , you can see how their own style was slowly solidifying on this album on tracks like "Creepin'," "Yeah!" and "Useless." Cool covers too, "I Never Loved Her," "A Basket of Flowers," "Gloria's Dream" and a few more.

CYNICS, THE "No Siesta Tonight" CD Get Hip $12
15 tracks of wild garage punk recorded live in Madrid during the Cynics 1990 Rock 'N' Roll tour. This album catches the Cynics at their high-energy best; in front of a live crowd!

CYNICS, THE "Learn To Lose" CD Get Hip $12
This is the moody 1993 follow up to the critically acclaimed Rock 'N' Roll album. With a batch of new material, the band took it's time in the studio to take the music to the next level. Includes a cool cover of the Lollipop Shoppe's "You Must Be A Witch."

CYNICS, THE "Living is the Best Revenge" CD Get Hip $12
In May 2002 The Cynics hooked up with ace producer/R&R spiritual counselor Tim Kerr in Austin, TX. to record their first studio album in 7 years and most likely their best one to date!

CYNICS, THE "Cynicism" CD 1+2 $12
Outstanding compilation featuring tracks from the first LPs and singles, from this seminal US garage-punk band. This collection of gems and (obscure) hits is an ode to 80s garage.

DADDY-O-GRANDE W/ LOST ACAPULCO CD Mostrissimo $12
"En Mexico". Straitjacket guitarist Danny Amis joined forces with Mexican surf heroes Lost Acapulco to record 13 instrumental tunes. The addition of a horn section and a Latin percussionist makes this album even more interesting. Mexican import.

DANNY MCDONALD "Fibrotones" CD Off The Hip $14
Danny's third solo album "Fibrotones" follows on from his previous releases "Into The Sun" and "Summer City", showing Danny taking yet another step forward in the songwriting realm - combining traditional Rock & Roll with Power Pop, 60's Surf and Indie Pop, & coming out swinging with an unpretentious & timeless body of work capturing the Australian condition and 70's Australian Surf culture like no other.

DC SNIPERS "Missile Sunset" CD Dead Beat $12
Outstanding debut album by this New York/New Jersey band heavily influenced by Gang of Four and The Electric Eels.

DEE RANGERS "5 Spanish Minutes" CD Screaming Apple $12
This CD is a swingin' masterpiece of organ dominated garage-punk, that will keep your mouth open for quite a while and your feet moving 'til it hurts. After two albums on White Jazz, one self-released CD and 45s on some of the coolest companies around, recording sessions at the famous Toe Rag Studios with Mr. Don Craine of The Downliner Sect and various tours through the whole of Europe, the band is now ready to conquer the universe with their bonecrunching, 60's garagebeat!

DEEP REDUCTION "Deep Reduction" CD Get Hip $12
Recorded during breaks in the action, it was a spontaneous burst of energy that resulted in a follow-up full length record. Sure this record has it's roots in Tek's classic Radio Birdman days and the Stump Wizards mutant Punk/Hard Rock sound, but then again is something entirely different new and different to be reckoned with.

DEEP REDUCTION "2" CD Get Hip $12
Radio Birdman's main men Deniz Tek (guitar) and Rob Younger (vocals) team up once again! This time with Younger lending his vocals to Tek's new project- Deep Reduction. The lineup also features Jack Chiara and Clyde McGeary of The Stump Wizards and Jonathan Sipes on bass guitar.

DEL-MONAS, THE "Do the Uncle Willy" CD Get Hip $12
Remarkable neo-60s female vocals and f-hole guitar by The Delmonas. Released two dozen years earlier, Uncle Willy would probably have generated a few top-40 singles, would have contributed cuts to several numbers of the Nuggets series, and would today be getting exactly the same degree of airplay on stations such as WFMU and WMBR. Such is its perfection.

DETROIT COBRAS "Life, Love and Leaving" CD SFTRI $13
2nd album by one of the best rock'n'soul bands to come out of the Motor City. A handful of rare covers played by refined musicians with an outstanding female vocalist (Rachel Nagy) leading the band.

DIALS, THE "Sick Times" CD Ribo-Teen $8
Hey you, Midwest freaks! The Puta-pons are back!!! Well, almost. From the ashes of the Puta-pons come these 6 tracks of pure New-Wave-Post-Punk-Garage by this talented 4-piece from Chicago composed by 75% fun girls, yes, that's fun girls, as in FUN GIRLS. The Dials are super original and sound fresh as hell. A great appetizer while we await their debut full length.

DIALS, THE "Flex Time" CD Latest Flame $12
13 kinetic, punky songs with a pop edge comprise this supercharged debut from Chicago's queens of new-wave-punk. The opener, "Dead Beat" sets the tone with bouncing Farfisa, jackhammer drums, and soaring vocals. "Stuck Inside" builds on that momentum with elastic guitar and bass. "Flex Time" is an indelible debut for a band with limitless potential.

DIAS DE BLUES "Dias de Blues" CD Akarma $18
Great re-issue on digipack from this 1972 latin psych gem. Dias de Blues were from Uruguay and it’s really hard to get an original copy of this album, that was originally released in Argentina.

DIMESTORE HALOS "Ghosts of Saturday Night" CD Fullbreach $10
This is the almost lost 4th album by this long-running Boston band. Over the years, the Haloes have built up a worldwide cult-like following of people who listen to various genres of music, and they did it by mixing '77 punk, rockabilly, glam, power pop, and rock 'n' roll. This post-humus release of their last album finds the Haloes growing up some, but still with plenty of catchy pop hooks and '77 snot.

D.O.A. "Live Free Or Die" CD Social Bomb $12
New album by Canada's #1 Punk Rock band. DOA have been around for almost 3 decades, fronted by Joey Shithead Keithley. Besides a bunch of originals, this album includes very interesting versions of Creedence's "Bad Moon Rising," Bob Dylan's "Masters Of War," and Barry McGuire's "Eve of Destruction."

DOM MARIANI "Shell Collection" CD Off The Hip $14
Dom Mariani needs no introduction to anyone with an interest in honest Australian music thru the past 20 years. Having fronted such first class acts as The Stems, The Someloves, Majestic Kelp & DM3, Dom's name is synonymous with high quality guitar based pop/rock. Collected here on "Shell Collection" are 14 cuts that've never appeared on any of his long players, including 2 exclusive songs and most tracks appearing on CD for the first time. This CD compilation will complete your Dom Mariani collection.

DTS, THE "Nice'n'Ruff" CD Get Hip $12
The Dt's second full-length recording is a non-stop, sweat-soaked, 35-minute rock and soul party in a box. Dave (ex-Monomen, Watts and Estrus Records' mentor), Diana, Phil, and Scott have taken 10 of their fave cuts from the before n' after and ruffed 'em up a bit, masterfully re-inventing each in the supercharged Dt's mold. The Dt's like it "Nice 'N' Ruff"!

E. FRANKENSTEIN / MUDDY FRANKENSTEIN CD Myrmecoleo $12
Split CD by these two well-known American and Japanese bands. 4 tracks each band. Japanese edition.
